Tee with compression fittings and NPT thread

Fitting made of bronze, uncoated – all connection surfaces remain in the raw state, ensuring clean contact with pipes and threads during installation. Both compression fittings have an outer diameter of 54 mm and are designed for pressing SC-Contur system pipes. The central connection is a 1-inch external tapered NPT thread – this is not a cylindrical R thread, but the NPT standard, which requires a corresponding threaded component compatible with this type.

The seal made of EPDM rubber is an integral part of one of the compression connections – it is not an additional component for assembly. There is no need to use pastes, additional seals, or other materials. When the pipe is pressed into the fitting, the EPDM seal inside the structure automatically creates a tight seal – installation is simple and requires no additional steps.

The working length of each fitting is 29 mm – inserting the pipe to this depth is sufficient to achieve a safe and leak-proof connection. A working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C and a temperature range from -25°C to +110°C make this tee suitable for domestic hot water installations, underfloor heating, and other circuits with high-temperature media.

The KIWA certificate confirms compliance with European safety standards for sanitary installations. This product is not a pipe – it is exclusively a connector for the SC-Contur system, so it works only with pipes compatible with this system. There is no need to use adapters or pastes – everything is designed as a single integrated unit.
