Reduction between Sanpress XL system pipes
One-piece reducing coupling designed for connecting pipes of different diameters in Sanpress XL systems. One side features a push-in connection (KW), while the other is a press-fit socket (MZ), enabling installation without welding and using standard pressing tools. Both sides have a raw surface finish—no protective coatings are applied—ensuring direct contact with the pipe and stable connection integrity during pressing.
The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) gasket ensures leak-tight performance even under temperature and pressure fluctuations. With a maximum working pressure of 16 bar at 20°C and an operating temperature range from -25°C to 110°C, the coupling is suitable for both heating and cooling systems, eliminating the risk of leakage during long-term operation.
All components are made of bronze, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in humid or aggressive environments. The internal metal ring reinforces the joint structure during pressing, preventing deformation. The coupling is KIWA certified, confirming compliance with European standards for installation systems.
Installation is straightforward: the larger pipe (76.1 mm) is inserted into the push-in end, while the smaller-diameter pipe (54 mm) is fitted into the socket. Both sides are then pressed in a single tool operation. No additional gaskets, adhesives, or two-stage assembly are required. The coupling is compatible exclusively with Sanpress XL system pipes and is not compatible with other systems.
