This fitting features three identical press-fit connections, each with a diameter of 88.9 mm—all manufactured from bronze. Each connection is equipped with an EPDM rubber seal and a metal ring, as specified by the manufacturer. There is no surface coating; all components are in their raw state, meaning they are neither painted nor galvanized. This construction is standard for the Sanpress XL system, where leak-tightness depends solely on precise pressing and material properties.

The length of each connection is 120 mm, while the working length—the portion involved in forming the sealed joint—is 66.9 mm. This means that during installation, the pipe must be inserted exactly to this depth: neither too little nor too much. For example, if the pipe is too short or misaligned, the connection will not be properly sealed.

The angle between the branches is 90°—the tee is rectangular. There are no additional structural elements beyond the seals and metal rings. These rings are not merely supportive; they are an integral part of the pressing system and contribute to both sealing integrity and joint stabilization during installation.

The system operates at a maximum working pressure of 16 bar at 20°C and is certified for media temperatures ranging from -25°C to 110°C. It is compatible exclusively with "system" pipes—those specifically designed for use within the VIEGA Sanpress XL system. It is not suitable for installation with pipes from other systems, even if their diameter physically matches.

Installation requires a specialized pressing tool. It cannot be performed manually or with wrenches. Each pressing point must be executed precisely according to the manufacturer's instructions—a single incorrect operation on one connection can lead to leakage throughout the entire circuit.
