Tee with crimped connections and tapered thread

The component is made of bronze and features three connections: two SC-Contur crimp fittings with a diameter of 42 mm and one external tapered thread (NPT) 3/4". All surfaces remain in the raw state – without additional coatings, paints, or polishing. This is not an aesthetic choice but a practical one: the bronze material itself is corrosion-resistant, and the absence of coating eliminates the risk of delamination or damage during crimping.

The seals in the crimped connections are made of EPDM – an elastomer with high thermal and chemical stability. It operates safely at temperatures from -25°C to 110°C, making this tee suitable for both domestic hot water systems and heating circuits with low-temperature heat sources. The working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C is standard for Sanpress systems – sufficient for most residential and commercial installations.

The working length of each crimped connection is 19 mm – the space required for proper crimping with the tool. The total length of the connections is 55 mm, providing sufficient space for installation and avoiding mechanical stresses when joining pipes. The NPT 3/4" (R) thread enables direct connection of valves, radiators, or other components with tapered threads without the need for additional adapters.

There are no "screw-in" or "threaded" seals here – everything functions through deformation sealing during crimping. This means fewer components to lose, fewer failure points, and faster installation. The installer does not need to worry about fitting or overtightening seals – simply prepare the pipe correctly and use the appropriate tool.

This tee is not "universal" in the sense of a wide range of diameters – it is precisely designed for 42 mm pipes. It cannot be used on smaller or larger diameters without risking leakage. However, where it fits, it performs flawlessly.
