Transition fitting from SC 35 x 5/4" stainless steel - polished, model 2311 Sanpress 436544
Transition fitting between crimped pipe and external tapered thread R
The 2311 Sanpress Inox fitting connects a 35 mm externally crimped pipe with an external tapered thread R (GZ) 1¼ inch — without the need for tape, paste, or other sealing agents. This is a one-piece component, made entirely of stainless steel 316 (1.4401), both in the crimped section and in the thread — eliminating the risk of corrosion at the joint and ensuring durability in humid and aggressive environments.
The crimped connection operates on SC-Contur technology: during crimping, the EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) seal is automatically and permanently compressed between the pipe wall and the inner surface of the coupling. Installation is quick, requires no precise alignment or additional tools beyond the press — the connection is leak-tight from the very first moment.
The external tapered thread R (GZ) is a European standard, compatible with most valves, radiators, and sanitary devices available on the market. It requires no additional sealing — its tapered shape and material hardness ensure leak-tightness through surface fit alone. Dimensions comply with the standard: a length of 69 mm allows free wrench access during tightening, even in tight spaces.
Maximum working pressure up to 16 bar at 20°C — sufficient for water supply, heating, and district heating installations in residential and commercial buildings. The absence of an air vent or drain valve means this is a purely functional fitting — without unnecessary components that could become failure points.
For the installer: one operation, one tool, one connection. For the user: no leaks throughout the entire service life of the installation.
