Crimp Coupling for Water and Heating Systems
This is a one-piece fitting with two crimp sleeves, designed for joining copper pipes with a diameter of 35 mm. Both ends have identical dimensions – each accepts a pipe with an outer diameter of 35 mm (1 inch), enabling simple and symmetrical connections without the need for adapters. The design is threadless – there are no threads, eliminating the risk of damaging threads during installation and simplifying the installer's work.
Sealing is provided by flat EPDM gaskets – an elastomer resistant to temperatures up to 110 °C and suitable for potable water, hot water, and heating water. The gaskets are integrated into the design, requiring no additional installation or lubrication. Installation is performed using presses with a V-contour – after crimping, the connection is leak-tight even before the system is filled, allowing for quick testing and fault detection.
The fitting material is bronze (rotguss), hard and resistant to the corrosive effects of water. The surface is not covered with any protective layers – the raw state ensures mechanical stability and compatibility with the Sanpress system. The mounting nut is made of brass – a key component that maintains precision during crimping and ensures long-term durability.
The component length is 100 mm – sufficient to allow free tool access during installation in tight spaces. The maximum working pressure is 16 bar at 20 °C, meeting the requirements for central heating and potable water systems. It does not include a drain valve or air vent – it is a pure connecting element.
Who is this solution for?
For the installer: no threading, no welding, no waiting for glue to dry. Simply cut the pipe, insert it into the sleeve, and crimp – the entire operation takes a few seconds. The absence of threads also means fewer tools to store and a lower risk of installation errors.
For the end user: the connection is durable and requires no maintenance. There is no risk of leaks due to aging threads or corrosion. The system operates maintenance-free throughout the entire lifespan of the installation – from initial commissioning to the final day of use.
Applications:
- Potable water (compliant with standards for distribution systems)
- Heating circuits (heating water up to 110 °C)
- Cooling or ventilation systems (if the medium is compatible with EPDM)
- Hydronic installations in residential and commercial buildings
Not suitable for gases or oils – only for water-based fluids.
