Connection to the Profipress System with SC-Contur

A brass coupling with one crimpable end (SC-Contur) and the other featuring a metric internal thread 1 1/4 inch (G32). Designed for direct installation on copper pipes with a diameter of 15 mm – no threading or soldering required. The EPDM gasket is pre-installed and requires no additional handling during installation.

For the Installer – Simplicity and Safety

Installation is performed using the standard Profipress tool – after crimping, the connection becomes hermetic and durable. The SC-Contur system guarantees visual confirmation of correct installation: uncrimped connections are detected during pressure testing at a minimum pressure of 0.1 MPa (1 bar), in both water and air installations. The nut is made of brass – corrosion-resistant and ensuring stable clamping during threaded assembly.

For the User – Reliability in Practice

The coupling is suitable for systems supplying heat, potable water, cooling, or compressed air. It operates safely at temperatures from -25°C to 110°C and a maximum pressure of 16 bar at 20°C – meeting requirements for both boilers and high-temperature heating systems. It contains no additional components (e.g., valves or air vents), meaning fewer potential failure points.
