Coupling with SC 22 x 3/4" bronze / shiny, model 2265 119133

Transition Coupling – Reliable Connection in Copper Installations

This bronze transition coupling, model 2265, is a critical component in copper piping systems, ensuring durable and leak-proof connections between pipes of different diameters. Manufactured from high-quality bronze and copper, it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. It is the ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users who value robust construction and easy installation.

The coupling connects a copper pipe with an outer diameter of 22 mm to a tapered external thread of 3/4 inch (NPT), enabling precise integration of system components while minimizing leakage risk. The coupling’s design relies on a flat sealing surface, further enhancing connection tightness.

Features and Applications

The Viega 2265 transition coupling is widely used in:

• Water supply and heating systems,
• Underfloor heating systems,
• Connections between copper pipes and components with tapered threads,
• Transitions between different types of pipe connections.

Manufactured from bronze in accordance with DVGW GW 6 and copper in accordance with DVGW GW 8, it complies with current safety standards. The maximum operating pressure of 16 bar ensures safe operation even under demanding conditions. Its simple design facilitates easy installation, while compatibility with various piping systems enhances its versatility. The use of high-quality materials ensures corrosion resistance and long-term reliable performance.
