AGM battery OPTI 12V 200 Ah 6AKUV200AG
AGM Battery for Wide Application
The OPTI series battery is a reliable power source, ideal for both emergency power systems and more demanding cyclic applications. It will work well in photovoltaic installations, UPS power supplies, or alarm systems. Its construction and parameters make it a universal solution for professionals and end-users.
Construction and Characteristic Features
The battery is built using AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) VRLA technology, which means the electrolyte is absorbed by a fiberglass separator. This construction eliminates the risk of acid leakage, allowing operation in any position. The casing made of durable ABS and copper terminals guarantee long life and resistance to mechanical damage. A built-in automatic sealing system protects the battery from overcharging by safely venting gases.
Applications and Benefits
The OPTI battery finds application in many areas:
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems: Provides uninterrupted power to critical devices in the event of a power failure.
- Photovoltaic installations: Stores solar energy, allowing its use when there is no sun.
- Voltage converters: Stabilizes voltage and supplies power to devices requiring specific parameters.
- Alarm and access control systems: Provides reliable power to security systems.
- Powering mobile devices: Ideal for scooters, mopeds, wheelchairs, or boats.
- Powering fiscal cash registers and CCTV systems: Ensures the continuity of important business and monitoring systems.
Thanks to its high efficiency and performance, the OPTI battery provides reliable operation for a long time – the designed lifespan is 5-8 years (at 25°C). It does not require electrolyte replenishment or maintenance, making it convenient to use. Additionally, the battery is characterized by high resistance to extreme temperatures and deep discharges (up to 600 cycles at 50% discharge).
The nominal voltage is 12V, and the nominal capacity is 200Ah. The designed lifespan of the battery at 25°C is 5-8 years. The maximum charging current is 40.5A or 50A (depending on the source). Internal resistance at 25°C is 3.9mΩ or 3.2mΩ (different sources).
It is worth remembering to choose the appropriate charging current and that AGM batteries are particularly well suited for buffer operation – i.e. maintaining voltage – than for frequent charge/discharge cycles in photovoltaic installations.
