Universal Car Power Supply for Laptops with Cigarette Lighter Plug

The power supply operates at 12–24 V — simply connect it to the cigarette lighter socket in a car, truck, or semi-trailer to power your laptop without needing the original adapter. The output voltage is manually selected using a switch on the housing; once the appropriate value is chosen, it can be secured with a protective cap to prevent accidental adjustment during driving.

The internal electronics are based on a microprocessor that controls current flow. When the laptop battery is fully charged, the power supply automatically switches to maintenance mode — it does not overload the battery, cause overheating, or negatively affect its lifespan. It also provides protection against short circuits, overvoltage, and excessive heating — especially during prolonged use in road conditions.

The laptop cable includes a ferrite filter — reducing electromagnetic interference originating from the vehicle's electrical system. This ensures more stable device operation and lowers the risk of malfunctions caused by electrical noise.

The housing is sealed and designed with passive cooling — the absence of a fan ensures quiet operation and prevents dust or moisture from entering the interior. An additional USB port is located on the side of the housing, allowing you to charge a phone, tablet, or other mobile device simultaneously without disconnecting the laptop.

The power supply is designed for devices with power consumption up to 90 W — covering most commercial and professional notebooks (e.g., Dell Latitude, HP EliteBook, Lenovo ThinkPad). It is not suitable for high-performance workstations or gaming laptops with higher power requirements.
