DC-ISO-PRO 10A 24/12V Converter – Stable Power for 12V Devices in 24V Vehicles
This is not a standard voltage reducer. The galvanically isolated converter delivers clean, stable 12V without electromagnetic interference – crucial when powering sensitive devices such as CB radios, GPS units, or laptops. In heavy-duty vehicles with 24V electrical systems, conventional converters often generate noise that disrupts communication or electronic operation. This unit eliminates such issues entirely.
Galvanic isolation is not just an added feature – it’s a fundamental safety requirement. It electrically separates the input from the output, eliminating the risk of voltage spikes from the 24V system damaging 12V devices. This is especially critical when connecting equipment like Webasto heaters or refrigerators, where a voltage fault could damage the compressor or control unit.
The 10A output current is sufficient to power multiple devices simultaneously: a vehicle refrigerator (up to 8A during startup), a mini vacuum cleaner, a CB radio, and a phone charging via USB – all operating without overload. The output voltage remains stable between 12V and 14V, even with input fluctuations from 21V to 30V – ensuring reliable performance during driving, when the alternator produces varying voltage levels.
Automatic protections are built in: if the input voltage exceeds 30V (e.g., during alternator shutdown), the converter shuts down. If it drops below 18V (e.g., during prolonged engine cranking), it also ceases operation – protecting both the load and the electrical system. Operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C means no concerns about mounting in the engine compartment or under the dashboard.
Dimensions and weight represent an optimal balance between power and practicality: 148x82x48 mm and approximately 550 g – small enough to fit anywhere in the cabin, yet heavy enough to dissipate heat effectively without a fan.
Installation requires only two wires: + and – on the input (connected to the 24V bus) and two on the output (to the device). No settings or configuration are needed. Once connected, it operates immediately – no delays, no warm-up time, no noise.
