Electric motor for boats Turbo-T 80 [brushless motor] 3ZSIL80LBS
Quiet, efficient assistance for maneuvering on water
The motor operates brushlessly – meaning there are no components that wear out or require maintenance. It runs silently, not scaring away fish, while also ensuring peaceful relaxation on board. An efficiency of up to 80% means a significant portion of the battery’s energy is converted into motion rather than heat – resulting in longer runtime with the same battery capacity.
The column, made of reinforced composite, does not break upon impact with the bottom nor deform under excessive pressure. This is crucial when navigating lakes with reeds, rivers with roots, or shorelines with rocks. The three-blade propeller delivers stable thrust even in shallow water – it does not sink in like cheaper models, and its shape ensures efficient propulsion without vibrations.
The control lever allows smooth speed adjustment – from very slow creeping to full power – and changes direction without needing to reposition the handle. You can steer with one hand, and the adjustable handle position ensures comfort in various seated positions on the boat. The extendable design adds even greater flexibility.
Power supply and resistance to conditions
You can connect it to most 12V batteries: deep-cycle lead-acid, AGM, gel (GEL), or lithium. No special battery is required – just use the one you already have. Recommended capacity is 100Ah or higher – this ensures several hours of operation under moderate load. If you use AGM or GEL batteries, you gain an additional advantage: they are resistant to shocks and temperature extremes – ideal for boats frequently transported and exposed to sun or cold air.
The built-in LED indicator on the cover shows the battery charge level – no more guessing whether the battery still has power. A quick glance is enough: if it’s lit, it’s connected; if it’s off, it may be discharged.
Installation and operation
Installation takes less than 10 minutes – no tools or special skills required. The motor mounts standard to the stern of a boat with hull thickness up to 65 mm. The column features a 7-position tilt lock – allowing you to set the propeller optimally depending on water depth: deeper water? Increase the tilt angle. Shallow water? Raise it higher.
At just 8.1 kg, this is lightweight for such a powerful motor – easy to carry and install even alone. The motor housing is enamel-coated steel – resistant to corrosion from salt and moisture. A protective guard beneath the propeller shields it from damage by the bottom or rocks.
No special electrical installation is needed – just connect wires with appropriate terminals to the battery. No additional regulators or relays are required.
