The TOPJOB® S feed-through terminal is an advanced solution for electrical installations in industrial environments and commercial buildings. Specifically designed for operation in explosive atmospheres (Ex e II and Ex i), it provides reliable electrical connections while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Electrical and mechanical parameters

The device ensures a rated current of 24A and a rated voltage of 800V, enabling safe operation in most industrial installations. The construction supports conductors with a cross-section from 0.25 to 4 mm² for various conductor types:

• Stranded conductors without ferrules: 0.25..4 mm²
• Stranded conductors with ferrules: 0.75..2.5 mm²
• Solid conductors: 0.75..4 mm²
• Fine-stranded conductors: 0.25..2.5 mm²

The compact design with dimensions 5.2 × 59 × 32 mm allows for dense packing in distribution boards while maintaining easy access to all components.

Safety in explosive atmospheres

The terminal is certified for explosive atmosphere categories Ex e II (electrical equipment in gas zones) and Ex i (intrinsically safe equipment), making it an ideal solution for installations where there is a risk of explosive atmospheres.

The Push-in CAGE CLAMP® mechanism enables quick installation without the need for tools – simply insert the conductor into the opening, and the spring automatically ensures a secure connection. Additionally, a test opening is available, allowing safe verification of electrical parameters without disassembly.

Construction and materials

The insulating housing is made of high-quality thermoplastic rated V0 according to UL94, guaranteeing flame retardancy and dimensional stability over a wide temperature range. The device maintains full functionality at temperatures up to 105°C, which is particularly important in industrial installations with elevated ambient temperatures.

Mounting is performed on a standard TH35 (TS) rail with dimensions of both 35 × 15 mm and 35 × 7.5 mm, ensuring universal mounting compatibility in various types of distribution boards. The black color facilitates identification during service and maintenance work.

The single-stage construction includes three connection points in one section – this solution simplifies wiring by reducing the number of components required for three-wire connections.
