Beam clamp BIS model C M8/23 mm 6003008
Beam mounting without drilling or welding
The BIS model C M8/23 mm beam clamp is a reliable solution for mounting steel structures. It allows for solid and quick connections without the need for laborious and costly drilling or welding. It is ideal for both construction sites and during the installation of support systems for technical installations.
The clamp is made of forged cast iron, which guarantees high strength and resistance to loads. The screw and nut made of hardened, electrolytically galvanized steel provide corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The M8 thread allows for mounting elements up to 23 mm thick, and the maximum recommended load is 2500 N – that’s quite a lot, isn’t it?
Design and application
The BIS model C clamp is designed for rails with a width and height of 25 mm and 23 mm, respectively. It is not compatible with support rails. Thanks to the precise workmanship and dimensional accuracy, it ensures a stable and secure connection. The hexagonal head screw (compliant with DIN 933, strength class 8.8) and the special screw end (compliant with EN ISO 4753) in combination with the lock nut minimize the risk of loosening the connection during operation.
It is worth remembering that BIS clamps comply with VdS and FM standards – this confirms their high quality and safety. If you are planning to mount pipes with a diameter greater than DN65, it is recommended to equip the clamp with a protective tape for additional reinforcement. This is a small detail that can significantly affect the safety of the entire installation.
