Solution for connecting PE pipes to metal installations

This compression tee is a key component when modernizing or constructing water supply installations, where it is necessary to connect modern polyethylene (PE) pipes with traditional metal fittings. The product allows for a safe and leak-proof transition from a 32 mm diameter pipe to a 3/4 inch male thread, which is standard when connecting valves, meters, or sanitary fittings. Thanks to the use of polypropylene (PP) in the body and nut, the connector is characterized by resistance to corrosion and UV radiation, making it suitable not only for interiors but also for installation in locations exposed to sunlight.

Quick installation without specialized equipment

The main advantage of this model is its ease of use. The compression system eliminates the need for an electrofusion welder or adhesive – installation is reduced to tightening the nut with a 32 mm wrench. This solution speeds up the installer's work and reduces the risk of human error during pipeline connection. Importantly, the connector is reusable; if disassembly is required, it can be unscrewed and reinstalled without loss of tightness, provided the integrity of the seal is maintained.

The connector is suitable for indoor and outdoor water installations, with a body made of polypropylene (PP), a nitrile rubber (NBR) seal, and a polyacetal compression ring. This construction ensures high tensile strength and the ability to operate under pressure up to 16 bar (PN16). The device functions seamlessly at temperatures up to 45°C, covering most standard cold and hot domestic water installations.

Design and operating parameters

The connector has been designed as a reducing element, combining three different types of connections in one housing. Two branches are compression connections dedicated to 32 mm diameter PE pipes, while the third branch is a 3/4 inch metric male thread (equivalent to DN 20). This configuration allows for easy branching of the installation without the need for additional reducing adapters. The branching angle is 90°, which facilitates laying pipelines in standard angular configurations. The black color scheme with a blue accent facilitates identification of its purpose (water) in a dense network of pipelines.

It is worth noting that although the body material is polypropylene, the sealing is provided by NBR rubber, which withstands contact with drinking water and typical environmental conditions in hydraulic installations well. The lack of a need for specialized welding tools makes this tee a frequently chosen solution for emergency repairs or rapid expansions of the water supply network. Parameters such as a maximum working pressure of 16 bar and UV radiation resistance confirm its suitability in demanding operating conditions both indoors and outdoors.
