PE Pipe Fittings in Crimping System

This solution enables quick and leak-tight connection of polyethylene (PE) pipes in water supply and pressurized sewerage installations, eliminating the need for complex joining methods. The fitting is made of polypropylene (PP-C) in black with blue marking, designed for pipes with a nominal diameter DN 40. Thanks to the use of crimping rings on both sides, installation can be performed without specialized welding equipment – a standard wrench or crimping tool is sufficient.

Practical Application and Installation

This component is used to change the pipeline direction by 90 degrees, which is crucial when bypassing obstacles or routing installations in hard-to-reach areas. The total length of the fitting is 151 mm, with each side providing a pipe insertion depth of 45 mm, ensuring stable seating of the pipe element. Inside, NBR rubber seals are installed, guaranteeing leak-tightness even under dynamic pressure changes in the network.

It is worth noting that this system allows for multiple disassembly and reassembly of the coupling without loss of sealing properties – a significant advantage during maintenance work or installation modernization. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar at 20°C, making it suitable for most standard water supply and pressurized sewerage networks.

Durability and Operating Conditions

The product has been designed with environmental resistance in mind, confirmed by the KIWA certificate. The PP-C material exhibits high chemical and mechanical resistance, while the wall thickness of the connections (20 mm) ensures adequate circumferential stiffness. The fitting is compatible with PE pipes having an outer diameter of 40 mm (SDR 11), and the universal profile code facilitates selection of the appropriate crimping jaws during installation. NBR seals are resistant to typical media transported in water installations, and the recommended continuous operating temperature range for cold water is from 5°C to 20°C.

Thanks to its simple construction and the elimination of welding requirements, this fitting reduces installation time while ensuring a high level of connection reliability in transmission systems.
