PVC-HT elbow for internal drainage – reliability and durability

This sanitary elbow, made of PVC-HT, is a key element of drainage installations in residential and commercial buildings. Designed for the removal of sanitary wastewater, it combines strength with resistance to high temperatures. An 88-degree angle makes it ideal for creating optimal connections in the drainage system.

The elbow is part of the Wavin internal drainage system, which is distinguished by its high quality and durability. Made of PVC-U (for diameters of 50 mm and larger), it provides resistance to incrustation – i.e. overgrowth – and an estimated service life of at least 50 years. Thanks to the smooth inner surface, the flow of wastewater is efficient and the risk of blockages is minimized.

Construction and application

The elbow has a socket connection on one side and a push-fit end on the other, making installation easier and ensuring a tight connection. A lip seal made of SBR provides additional protection against leaks. Made of a material resistant to high temperatures (up to 75°C), it is suitable for draining warm sanitary wastewater. Available in gray color, which facilitates aesthetic installation both in sight and in built-in structures.
