PP-HT pipe for internal drainage – reliability and durability

PP-HT pipe with a diameter of 40 mm and a wall thickness of 1.8 mm is an element of an internal drainage system designed for the removal of sanitary wastewater in residential and commercial buildings. Made of polypropylene (PP), it is characterized by high temperature resistance up to 95°C, making it an ideal solution for draining hot water from sinks, showers or dishwashers. The pipe length is 2 meters, and the gray color blends well in both visible installations and built-in systems.

PP-HT pipes, unlike PVC, are characterized by slightly greater flexibility, which facilitates installation and minimizes the risk of damage during transport and installation. The chamfer on the ends of the pipe facilitates connection to other elements of the drainage system. The coefficient of thermal expansion at 0.09 mm/(m.K) ensures installation stability with temperature changes.

Application and structural features

The pipe has a pipe end and a push-fit socket connection (connection 2), which allows for quick and tight installation without the need for glue or other additional materials. The outer diameter of the pipe is 40 mm, and the outer diameter of the socket is 54 mm. A standardized dimension ratio (SDR) of 22 ensures adequate mechanical strength of the pipe while maintaining optimal wall thickness.
