Reducing tee 50x32x50 WT Wavin PPR 3051018
Reducing tee for water and heating installations
This Wavin PPR reducing tee connects pipes of different diameters – 50 mm, 32 mm and 50 mm – enabling a smooth transition between installation elements. It is a key component in Wavin PPR systems, designed for transporting hot and cold water and, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, for central heating installations. Made of polypropylene (PP-R), it ensures durability and reliability of the connection.
Design and application
This tee is designed for connecting pipes in a welded system, which guarantees tightness and resistance to pressure. A 90-degree angle allows for changing the flow direction in the installation. Reducing the diameter from 50 mm to 32 mm allows connecting elements with a smaller diameter without the need for additional adapters. This is particularly useful when modifying existing installations or adapting them to new requirements.
Advantages and benefits
- Durability and reliability: Made of high-quality polypropylene (PP-R) resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage.
- Tight connection: Welded connection ensures complete tightness, eliminating the risk of leaks.
- Versatility: Can be used in hot water, cold water and central heating installations (according to the installation instructions).
- Easy installation: The Wavin PPR system is characterized by quick and simple welded installation.
- Long service life: With proper operation, the Wavin PPR system can last up to 50 years.
- Safety for health: The material is harmless to health and does not affect the quality of the transported water.
- Low noise and pressure loss: Smooth inner surface of the pipes minimizes flow resistance, reducing noise and pressure loss.
- Recyclability: Polypropylene is a recyclable material, making it environmentally friendly.
Additional information: the tee has seals to ensure additional tightness of the connection and is designed to operate at a maximum working pressure of 20 bar at a temperature of up to 75°C. The standardized dimension ratio (SDR) is 6, which affects the mechanical strength of the element.
