Reducing tee 75x50x75 WT Wavin PPR 3051042
Reducing tee for water and heating installations
This Wavin PPR 75x50x75 reducing tee is a reliable solution for connecting polypropylene pipes in water supply and heating systems. It allows you to change the pipe diameter from 75 mm to 50 mm and then back to 75 mm, which is useful in many installation configurations. Made of high-quality polypropylene (PP-R), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance.
Design and application
This tee is designed for welding/fusion, which guarantees a tight and durable connection. A 90-degree bend angle makes it easier to route the installation in different directions. It is ideal for building branches in cold and hot water installations, as well as central heating - provided that the manufacturer's recommendations regarding installation are followed. Thanks to the use of PP-R material, the tee is resistant to the action of most chemicals found in water and heating agents.
Advantages and benefits
- Durability: Made of high-strength polypropylene (PP-R), it ensures long-term operation without the risk of corrosion or mechanical damage.
- Tightness: Welded connection guarantees complete tightness, eliminating the risk of leaks and energy losses.
- Versatility: Can be used in cold water, hot water and central heating installations (according to the installation instructions).
- Easy installation: Welding/fusion is quick and easy, reducing installation time.
- Chemical resistance: PP-R material is resistant to the action of most chemicals present in water and heating agents.
- Safety: The material is harmless to health and the environment, and is also recyclable.
- Low noise: Installations made of PP-R are characterized by a low level of noise from flowing water.
- Low pressure loss: The smooth inner surface of the pipes minimizes pressure losses caused by friction.
Additional information: the tee has seals to provide additional connection safety and has a diameter reduction, which allows for flexible adaptation to installation needs. The maximum working pressure is 20 bar at 20°C, and the permissible working temperature is 0-75°C. The wall thickness of the connections has been adapted to the dimensions of the pipes (12.5 mm for DN75 and 17 mm for DN50), which ensures adequate mechanical strength.
