This Sitech Plus reduction, made of polypropylene (PP), is used to connect pipes of different diameters in internal drainage systems. It is a key element when transitioning from a 50 mm diameter pipe to a 40 mm diameter pipe, ensuring a tight and durable connection. The product is designed for low-noise installations, which is particularly important in residential and public buildings.

Construction and application

The reduction is characterized by an eccentric design, meaning that the connection axis does not run through the center of the reduction. This solution helps to minimize flow turbulence and reduce noise. The length of the reduction is 108 mm, and connection 1 (spigot / pipe end) has a length of 33 mm, while connection 2 (for socket) has a length of 45 mm. The use of SBR gaskets guarantees a tight connection, and the universal connection profile code ensures compatibility with various types of clamping jaws.
