The PP-HT Sitech Plus pipe with a diameter of DN 150 and a length of 3000 mm is a high-quality sanitary installation component, designed with acoustic comfort in residential and commercial buildings in mind. Made of a three-layer polypropylene (PP) copolymer with a mineral filler, it is characterized by high mechanical and temperature resistance, as well as effective damping of noise generated during wastewater flow.
Operating parameters and resistance to operating conditions
The SiTech+ system is characterized by a ring stiffness >5.5 KN/m², which guarantees installation stability even under heavy loads. The pipe withstands temperatures up to 90°C during continuous flow and 95°C during intermittent flow, enabling the safe discharge of hot wastewater. A wall thickness of 5 mm with an outer diameter of 160 mm ensures optimal mechanical strength while maintaining installation flexibility.
A linear expansion coefficient of 0.12 mm/(m·K) minimizes thermal deformation, and a wall roughness of 0.02 mm limits the accumulation of contaminants and maintains high flow efficiency. A maximum working pressure of 0.5 bar is fully sufficient for standard gravity sewage installations.
Application and user benefits
The pipe is intended for internal sanitary sewage installations in residential, office, and public utility buildings. Its low-noise design significantly reduces noise emission during intensive wastewater discharge - the material-weighted sound level is only 15 dB(A) at a flow rate of 4 l/s (according to the PN-EN 14366:2006 standard). This translates into significantly higher comfort for residents and room users.
The black color (RAL 9005) and the natural resistance of the PP-HT material to UV radiation eliminate the need for additional protective coatings. The PP-HT material exhibits high resistance to aggressive chemical substances found in domestic and industrial wastewater, which extends the service life of the installation and reduces operating costs.
System design and construction
The SiTech+ system is based on an innovative three-layer structure - the outer and inner layers are made of PP copolymer in black/white/grey, while the core contains PP copolymer or recyclate with a mineral filler additive.
Connections are made using push-fit sockets at both ends of the pipe, with one factory-installed push-fit/elastomeric type rubber seal. The chamfered system enables fast and leak-proof installation without the need for specialized welding or gluing tools. The ring stiffness class SN4 guarantees installation stability throughout its entire service life.
