TS PE pipe 63x5.8mm SDR11 for potable water /100m/ 3012578
Polyethylene PE-100 RC Pipe for Water Supply Systems
The pipe has an outer diameter of 63 mm and a wall thickness of 5.8 mm, corresponding to SDR 11 – the standard ratio for high-pressure operating systems. This is a solid pipe, containing no additional layers, thermal insulation, or heating cable. The color – blue – is standard for potable water and facilitates identification on-site.
The material is PE-100 RC, i.e., polyethylene with increased resistance to slow crack growth – the same polymer that enables the pipe to withstand mechanical damage even with improper backfilling or under difficult soil conditions. It does not require a sand bedding when installed in native soil, reducing installation costs and time. In directional drilling, no protective sleeves are needed – the pipe handles the process on its own.
Operating pressure up to 16 bar (PN 16) at temperatures up to 20°C – sufficient for most domestic and multi-family building water supply installations. The thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.23 W/(m·K) indicates low conductivity – the pipe neither overheats nor cools down quickly, helping to maintain water temperature. The wall roughness of 0.007 mm ensures minimal flow resistance – no pressure loss due to friction.
The pipe is sealed at both ends, protecting the interior from contamination during transport and storage. It has no gaskets or couplings – connections are made using standard fitting elements (e.g., expansion fittings or welded joints). The thermal expansion coefficient of 0.2 mm/(m·K) is typical for PE – during installation, elongation due to temperature changes must be accounted for, but this is not an issue if the installation is designed in accordance with standards.
For the installer: no need to worry about damage during transport or installation – the material is resistant to cracking and stress cracking. For the user: it guarantees constant water pressure, no corrosion, and long service life without the need for replacement.
All this in one pipe – simple, proven, and designed to operate trouble-free for decades.
