This steel gas connection with pre-insulated pipe is a ready-made solution for connecting a gas installation. Made of high-quality L360 NE/L360 NB steel and PE 100RC pipe, it meets stringent safety standards and provides long-lasting protection against corrosion. The design with a DN50 flange facilitates installation and integration with existing infrastructure.

Construction and protection

The connection is characterized by a solid construction that guarantees reliability and safety of use. Key elements include:

• Steel pipe: Made of durable L360 NE/L360 NB steel, providing resistance to pressure and mechanical damage.
• Polyethylene insulation: Min. 2 mm thick PE insulation protects against corrosion and heat loss, and also provides electrical breakdown resistance up to 25,000 V.
• Anti-corrosion protection: An advanced anti-corrosion system (3LPE) guarantees the durability of the connection for at least 50 years.
• CANUSA heat shrink tubing: Additional protection against moisture and mechanical damage in the critical connection area.
• PE 100RC pipe: Certified compliance with PAS 1075 standard confirms the high quality of the material and its suitability for gas transport.

Application and parameters

The connection with a steel length of 3000 mm, PE length of 350 mm and height of 1500 mm is designed for the construction of gas connections in both new and modernized installations. The DN50 flange allows easy connection to existing gas infrastructure elements. It can be used at temperatures from -30°C to +40°C and at a maximum pressure of 0.5 MPa. The orange color of the PE pipe facilitates the identification of the medium transported inside.
