Design and application

The Wilo-STAR-Z 25/2-EM pump is designed for operation in closed internal installations where maintaining a constant water temperature is crucial. The pump body made of bronze (Rg 5) provides high corrosion resistance and durability, even in harsh conditions. The polypropylene (PP-GF) impeller is characterized by dimensional stability and abrasion resistance. The ceramic shaft with resin-impregnated plain bearings ensures smooth and silent operation. The pump is ideal for use in residential buildings (single- and multi-family), hotels, medical facilities, and catering establishments.

Performance and operating parameters

The Wilo-STAR-Z 25/2-EM offers a flow rate of up to 3.56 m³/h with a maximum head of 2.26 m. The nominal flow rate is 1.94 m³/h at a head of 12.3 kPa. The pump operates at a voltage of 230 V and a frequency of 50 Hz, consuming only 0.05 kW of motor power (P1). Thanks to the insulation class F and protection class IP44, the pump is safe to use even in damp rooms. The connections with a diameter of 1 ½ inches (40 mm) with a cylindrical external gas thread (BSPP) facilitate installation in existing systems. The mounting length is 180 mm, allowing the pump to be adapted to different pipeline configurations. The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar and the permissible water hardness is 18°dH, ensuring compatibility with most water supply systems.
