The Wilo-Sub TWU 4-0405-C DM is a reliable pump designed for drawing water from deep wells with a diameter of 4 inches (110 mm / 125 mm), as well as from closed tanks and cisterns. The pump’s design allows for both vertical and horizontal installation, significantly increasing installation flexibility. This robust solution is ideal for clean water supply, perfectly suited for residential, agricultural, and industrial applications.

Performance and operating parameters

The Wilo-Sub TWU 4-0405-C DM delivers a flow rate of up to 6 m³/h at a maximum head of 33 meters. The 0.37 kW motor operates on 400 V, ensuring stable and efficient performance. The pump exhibits high resistance to sand content in water—up to 50 g/m³—minimizing the risk of damage and extending service life. With an IP68 protection rating, the pump is fully protected against submersion and aggressive environments.

Construction and materials

The pump casing is made from high-quality stainless steel (grade 304 – 1.4301), guaranteeing durability and corrosion resistance. The impeller, made of polypropylene (PP), ensures efficient water delivery while maintaining high wear resistance. Electrical connection is achieved via a pre-attached cable with a plug, simplifying installation and connection to the electrical system. Additionally, Class B insulation ensures safe operation. The outlet connection has a diameter of 1¼ inch (32 mm) with an internal BSPT-Rc thread, enabling easy connection to standard piping systems.
