The Wilo-Sub TWU 4-0407-C EM submersible pump is a solid and efficient device designed for drawing water from deep wells and boreholes. It is suitable for both domestic installations, garden irrigation systems and agricultural applications. The construction based on durable materials guarantees a long service life and trouble-free operation, even in difficult conditions.

Construction and application

The pump is designed to operate completely submerged, which ensures quiet and efficient operation. Made of high-quality stainless steel (grade 304 – 1.4301) it is resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. The polypropylene (PP) impeller provides good hydraulic performance while being abrasion resistant. The TWU 4-0407-C EM model is characterized by a motor power of 0.55 kW, which allows for a capacity of up to 6 m³/h and a water lift height of up to 46 meters. The connection cable with plug facilitates the installation and connection of the pump to the electrical installation with a voltage of 230 V.

Technical parameters and construction

The Wilo-Sub TWU 4-0407-C EM pump has been designed with reliability and efficiency in mind. The C characteristic of the overcurrent circuit breaker (does not directly relate to the pump, but is important for installation safety) allows for short-term current overloads, which is particularly important when starting pump motors. The maximum sand content in the water can be up to 50 g/m³, which increases the pump's resistance to damage caused by mechanical impurities. The outlet connection with an internal thread BSPT-Rc (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) with a diameter of 1 ¼ inch (32 mm) allows easy connection to installation pipes with a standard diameter. Insulation class B ensures safe electrical operation of the device. The pump is designed for continuous operation at a water temperature from 3°C to 30°C and a maximum of 20 operating cycles per hour.
