Professional submersible pump for well water supply
Wilo-Sub TWU 4-0418-C EM is a multistage submersible pump from the German manufacturer Wilo, designed for professional water supply from deep wells, cisterns, and other reservoirs. With a power of 1,5 kW and the ability to operate at a voltage of 230V, the device provides high efficiency up to 6 m³/h and a maximum head of 120 meters.
Construction and materials ensuring durability
The pump housing is made of AISI 304 (1.4301) stainless steel, which guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation in aquatic environments. The 18-stage design utilizes impellers made of Noryl (polypropylene) or PVC-CPE, which allow for pumping water with a low sand content up to 50 g/m³. The built-in check valve eliminates the need for additional non-return valve installation.
The motor with a diameter of 98 mm operates at a rotational speed of 2869 rpm and is hermetically filled with epoxy resin with class B insulation. Cooling is achieved through the pumped medium - therefore, the device must always be fully submerged during operation.
Operating parameters and operating conditions
The pump maintains full functionality at medium temperatures from +3°C to +30°C, with a maximum working pressure of 13,2 bar. The IP68 protection rating ensures full water resistance during long-term immersion at depths of up to 200 meters. The maximum switching frequency is 20 cycles per hour, which requires appropriate selection of a pressure vessel.
The discharge connection has a nominal diameter of 1¼ inch (32 mm) with an internal BSPT-Rc tapered pipe thread. The minimum flow velocity at the motor must be at least 0,08 m/s for proper cooling.
Complete set and service support
The standard scope of delivery includes fully assembled hydraulics with the motor and a power cable with a length of 1,75-1,8 meters and a cross-section of 4G1,5 mm², certified for drinking water. The single-phase version includes a starter box with a capacitor, thermal motor protection, and a start/stop switch.
The manufacturer offers a standard 2-year warranty and a free service package for a period of 5 years, covering repairs directly at the customer's site or replacement with a new device in the event of a failure not covered by the warranty.
