Performance and operating parameters

This three-phase pump (3 phases, 400 V, 50 Hz) offers a maximum performance of 6 m³/h and is able to lift water to a height of up to 322 meters. The engine power is 4 kW, which ensures stable operation even with high water demand. Thanks to the C characteristic, the pump reacts more slowly to short current surges, which is particularly important when starting devices with a motor – this protects the electrical installation from unnecessary triggering of protections. The maximum sand content in the water can be up to 50 g/m³, which increases the pump's resistance to mechanical damage.

Construction and materials

The Wilo-Sub TWU 4-0448-C DM is characterized by a solid construction. The pump housing is made of stainless steel (grade 304 – 1.4301), which ensures corrosion resistance and durability. The impeller made of polypropylene (PP) or PVC-CPE is resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage. The IP68 protection class guarantees complete sealing and the possibility of immersing the pump to a depth of 200 meters. The outlet connection with a diameter of 1 ¼ inch (32 mm) with an internal BSPT-Rc thread (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) facilitates installation and connection to the installation. Insulation class B ensures safe operation of the motor.
