Thermal insulation for Yonos MAXO pumps

The thermal insulation cover is an accessory designed to reduce heat loss in central heating systems. It is mounted on the circulation pump housing when the device operates exclusively in heating mode - in this case, insulation is not needed on the medium side, and its presence would only generate unnecessary energy losses. In cooling mode, the cover can be easily removed.

Compatibility

The cover fits two variants of pumps: Yonos MAXO and Yonos MAXO plus:

• 25(30)/0,5-7 - equivalent to power 0,5-7 m
• 25(30)/0,5-10 - equivalent to power 0,5-10 m

The product is dedicated to pumps with a connection diameter of DN25/30, which corresponds to thread sizes 1" and 1½". It works with both standard versions and versions equipped with control electronics (plus).

Design and dimensions

The cover is made of plastic - lightweight, yet sufficiently rigid to maintain its shape and seal around the pump housing for years of operation. The overall dimensions are 144 × 112 × 133 mm, and the gross weight is only 0,141 kg, so installation and removal do not require tools or great force.

The shape of the cover matches the geometry of the Yonos MAXO pump housing - a two-part casing placed on the upper part of the motor, covering ventilation slots and contact points with the pipeline.

Why use insulation

In closed central heating circuits, where water temperature exceeds 50°C, an uninsulated pump housing radiates heat to the surroundings. Thermal insulation allows these losses to be minimized - which is particularly important in boiler rooms and places where the pump operates continuously throughout the heating season. This translates to lower energy bills and a more stable temperature of the heating medium.
