Wilo-Connect Yonos MAXO Communication Module – Expand Pump Capabilities

The Wilo-Connect Yonos MAXO module is a practical solution for upgrading pumps in the Yonos MAXO, Yonos MAXO-D and Yonos MAXO-Z series. Functionality and application

This module not only expands the functionality of the pump, but also provides greater control over its operation. The "Ext. OFF" function provides a soft start, reducing the load on downstream devices. Operating and alarm signals are transmitted to the Building Management System (BMS), allowing monitoring of the pump status and quick response in the event of a failure. The integrated function of controlling two pumps eliminates the need for additional components.

Construction features and parameters

The Wilo-Connect Yonos MAXO module is characterized by simple installation thanks to the plug-in connector and compact dimensions. It has connection terminals with a maximum cross-section of 2.5 mm² for power cables and 1.5 mm² for signal cables. The module housing has a degree of protection of IPX4D, which ensures resistance to splashing water. The module can operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C. The set includes four M16x1.5 cable glands and mounting screws.

The supply voltage is 1~ 230 V ±10 %, 50/60 Hz. The cross-section of the power cables should be from min. 1.5 mm² to max. 2.5 mm², and the signal cables from min. 0.25 mm² to max. 1.5 mm². The module operates in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C and has a degree of protection of IPX4D.

The module is equipped with an LED indicating the operating status and outputs: SBM (operating signal), SSM (fault signal) and "Ext. Off" control input. Additionally, it offers a function of managing two pumps with automatic switching in case of failure of one of them.
