Construction and performance

The pump is characterized by a capacity of up to 5.91 m³/h and a head of up to 64.46 meters, allowing for efficient water pumping to significant heights. The 0.75 kW motor provides stable operation, and thermal protection protects it from overheating. The use of a suction basket minimizes the risk of the pump becoming jammed with impurities, and high-quality materials – stainless steel 304 (1.4301) – ensure corrosion resistance and long life. Thanks to the pump diameter of 5 inches (129 mm), the pump is compatible with most boreholes and wells.

Application and installation

The Wilo-Sub TWI 5-306EM-FS pump is designed for submerged operation, but can also be installed without submersion in water thanks to the built-in cooling jacket for the motor. It is equipped with a 20-meter power cable and a safety rope, which facilitates installation and suspension of the pump. A threaded connection on the discharge side (Rp 1¼ inch) allows for easy connection to the water supply system. In addition, the EM version has motor overload protection, which increases safety. The FS version is equipped with a float switch, which automatically switches off the pump in the event of a lack of water, protecting it from running dry.
