Buffer tank for closed heating installations

Tank with a capacity of 3000 L, designed exclusively for operation in closed, oxygen‑free heating systems. It does not have internal anti‑corrosion protection — use in open systems or where air access is possible is prohibited.

Made of black steel, insulated with 100 mm thick polyurethane foam. The insulation layer is removable — it eases transport and installation, and after fitting it remains as a thermal barrier, minimizing heat loss.

Intended for use with heating boilers, heat pumps or solid‑fuel boilers. The SPU-2 version does not include a coil — for connecting solar systems use the SPU-W model.

Maximum working pressure: 3 bar. Maximum water temperature in the secondary circuit: 95 °C. Compliant with DIN 4753 and approved for installations according to DIN 12828.

It features eight 2‑inch connections — for linking boiler circuits, heating loops and heat exchangers. Four ½‑inch thermometer ports allow temperature monitoring at various points of the buffer. One 1¼‑inch opening is provided for system venting.

Dimensions: diameter 1450 mm (with insulation) / 1250 mm (without), height 2560 mm (with insulation) / 2480 mm (without). Kippmaß: 2950 mm — a key value for delivery and installation planning. Weight: approximately 295 kg.

It is not intended for domestic hot water production nor for operation in open systems.
