Functionality and application

The PZM-10 relay works with an external SZH-03 probe, which is placed in areas prone to flooding – basements, boiler rooms, laundries or bathrooms. When water is detected, the relay triggers an alarm signal or other programmed action (e.g., pump shutdown). The 3-meter long probe provides flexibility in choosing the mounting location. The device finds application in both residential and commercial buildings where protection against the effects of flooding is crucial.

Construction and characteristic features

The PZM-10 relay is mounted on a TH 35 rail and is characterized by compact dimensions (90x35x66 mm). It has an LED indicating the supply voltage and the relay status (leak detection). The relay contact with a load capacity of 16A/250VAC allows connection of various alarm or actuator devices. The external SZH-03 probe is galvanically isolated from the relay, which increases safety. The possibility of extending the probe cable (up to 500 m) gives great freedom in choosing the location of the probe in relation to the relay. The device meets the standards PN-EN 60669-1; PN-EN 60669-2-1 and PN-EN 61000-4-2,3,4,5,6,11, which confirms its compliance with applicable safety standards.
