It not only detects the presence of water but also allows for remote sensor configuration – a function available only with external power. This is crucial for precisely tailoring the system's operation to specific needs and conditions.

The PCZ-21 base provides a stable power supply for the RCZ-21 sensor and also allows connection of an external probe, expanding the system's application possibilities. This makes it possible to monitor liquid levels in tanks, wells or other hard-to-reach places. Acoustic and optical signaling on the RCZ-21 sensor informs about detected flooding, and the ability to remotely read the status via the EXTA LIFE system ensures you are always up to date.

Functionality and Application

The PCZ-21 base is an integral part of the EXTA LIFE system, meaning easy integration with other smart home devices. The ability to control receivers directly from the sensor or via the EFC-01 controller allows for automation of processes such as starting pumps or solenoid valves in the event of a leak. This not only increases user comfort but, above all, ensures a quick response in emergency situations.

The system offers two operating modes: flood detection and pulse – the latter allows the sensor to be used for counting pulses and controlling other devices. This means that one device can perform many functions, which translates into cost savings and simplified installation. The PCZ-21 base is compatible with both battery power (RCZ-21) and external power (6÷24 V AC/DC), providing flexibility in choosing a solution tailored to specific needs.

Construction and Compatibility

The PCZ-21 base has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. The IP67 protection class guarantees resistance to water and dust ingress, making it an ideal solution for use in harsh environmental conditions. It is compatible only with the RCZ-21 water leak sensor and the external probe (available in the PCL-21 kit).
