The WZN-01 dusk switch is a practical solution for automatically turning lights on and off depending on the light level. The device, designed for surface mounting, is suitable for both home and commercial installations where energy saving and ease of use are important. Thanks to it, the lighting will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, eliminating the need for manual operation.

Functionality and application

The WZN-01 switch is designed to control lighting circuits with a voltage of 230V AC. Its operation is based on measuring the light intensity and automatically switching on the circuit when the light level falls below the set threshold. This is an ideal solution for:

• Outdoor lighting: Gardens, driveways, building elevations – provides safety and convenience.
• Indoor lighting: Corridors, stairs, utility rooms – increases comfort and saves energy.
• Commercial installations: Warehouses, parking lots, recreational areas – reduces operating costs.

This switch is particularly useful where access to the light switch is difficult or inconvenient. Surface mounting makes installation easy even in existing electrical installations.

Characteristics and benefits

The device is characterized by a solid construction made of duroplast – a material resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions (although the switch itself has an IP20 protection class and is not intended for outdoor use). The brightness threshold can be adjusted in the range of 0-200 lx, allowing you to adapt the operation of the switch to individual needs and environmental conditions. The maximum switching power is 2000W for incandescent bulbs and 1000VA for fluorescent lamps (750VA for fluorescent lamps with parallel compensation), which ensures compatibility with various types of light sources. A delay of up to 30 seconds prevents unnecessary frequent switching on/off of the lighting due to temporary changes in light intensity. This extends the life of the light source and the switch itself. The device has a normally open (NO) contact, which makes it easier to integrate with existing electrical circuits.
