Modular contactor for controlling loads
The STM-25-20/S modular contactor is a reliable automation and control element, used in both domestic and industrial installations. The device is designed to control higher load currents of an electrical receiver using low-voltage signals. Its modular construction simplifies mounting on a TH35 rail, and the presence of a manual switch allows switching the circuit on and off even in the event of a power failure.
Functionality and application
This contactor is characterized by a 2xNO (normally open) contact arrangement, which means that the circuit is open at rest and closed after the contactor is activated. A maximum current of 25A in AC5b and AC7a categories ensures safe operation with various receivers. This makes the contactor ideal for lighting control systems, heating, simple automation systems and anywhere remote or manual switching of a load is required. The ability to cooperate with auxiliary contacts SPM-05-11 and SPM-05-20 expands the functionality of the device, allowing the implementation of more complex control schemes.
Construction and mounting
The STM-25-20/S contactor has been designed with easy installation and convenience in mind. Mounting is done on a standard TH35 rail using dedicated clips. The manual switch allows manual control of the contactor - position "I" closes the NO contacts in the absence of power (until it appears), and position "0" keeps them open regardless of the coil power supply status. The contactor housing provides protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Connection of wires is done through six connection terminals, adapted for wires with a maximum cross-section of 4 mm². Remember to take appropriate safety precautions when working with live devices and to comply with applicable safety standards.
