Intelligent lighting control with MCR-08 motion sensor

This miniature PIR motion sensor is an ideal solution for automating lighting inside and outside buildings. Designed by Zamel, the MCR-08 model combines compact size with advanced features, providing convenience and energy savings. Thanks to the ability to detect motion at a range of up to 6 meters and wide detection angles – 120 or 360 degrees – the sensor is perfect for hallways, stairs, toilets, utility rooms, as well as outdoor spaces.

Flexible mounting and configuration

The MCR-08 sensor stands out for its exceptional mounting flexibility. It can be easily installed in a suspended ceiling, junction box, or even directly in a luminaire. A hermetic probe on a cable (IP65) allows adaptation of the device to various environmental conditions and precise monitoring of the selected area. The sensor configuration is simple and intuitive thanks to a set of DIP switches, ensuring repeatability of settings even in larger installations. The ability to adjust the lighting time (from 5 seconds to 8 minutes) and the brightness threshold (10/2000 lux) allows you to tailor the sensor's operation to individual needs.
