Smart motion sensor lighting control MCR-09

The MCR-09 motion sensor is a reliable solution for automatic lighting control both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to modern infrared (PIR) detection technology and a hermetic housing (IP65), it provides convenient use and energy savings. The device is ideal for corridors, stairwells, garages, gardens, as well as utility rooms and damp areas.

Functionality and application

The MCR-09 sensor reacts to movement in an area with a radius of up to 12 meters, covering a 180-degree detection angle. Thanks to the adjustable sensor head, you can precisely adjust the detection area to specific needs. The device also takes into account the level of external light intensity – the lighting will only turn on when detected movement coincides with a sufficiently low light level. This prevents unnecessary energy consumption during the day. The lighting time can be adjusted from 10 seconds to 15 minutes, and re-detection of movement resets the timer, ensuring continuous lighting while in the monitored area.

Construction and mounting

Made of high-quality plastic, the MCR-09 sensor is resistant to weather conditions and mechanical damage. Surface mounting is simple and intuitive, and special seals ensure the tightness of the cable connections. The device works with LED lighting and other electrical receivers with a power of up to 1200W (for resistive loads). Low energy consumption (0.5W) also contributes to savings. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range (-20°C to +40°C) which guarantees reliability even in difficult conditions.
