Zehnder ComfoAir Q450 PL L VV ST is a heat recovery ventilation unit designed to provide a healthy indoor climate and minimize energy losses. The device combines high performance, quiet operation and intelligent control solutions, making it an ideal choice for both installers and end users. The unit is particularly recommended for single-family homes, but will also work well in multi-family buildings and commercial facilities.

Performance and efficiency

ComfoAir Q450 PL L VV ST offers a performance of up to 450 m³/h at 200 Pa, ensuring effective air exchange in the rooms. The built-in cross-current heat exchanger with a large surface area allows for heat recovery of up to 93%, significantly reducing heating costs. The modulated pre-heater (VV) adjusts the temperature of the supply air to external conditions, ensuring thermal comfort throughout the year. Thanks to this, the device not only provides fresh air, but also lowers energy bills.

Intelligent control and functionality

The unit is equipped with a number of automatic control functions, such as air flow regulation, temperature and humidity comfort. Built-in sensors monitor conditions in the room and adjust the device's operation to current needs. The Flow Control function automatically balances the amount of supply and exhaust air, ensuring optimal heat recovery. Additionally, the device has a freeze protection system and the ability to integrate with smart home control systems via ComfoConnect LAN C, KNX and Option Box (GWC, 0-10V) modules. The control panel located on the housing allows for easy configuration and monitoring of the device's operation.

Construction and installation

ComfoAir Q450 PL L VV ST is a device with compact dimensions (725 x 850 x 570 mm) and a weight of 50 kg. The left-hand version (L) is intended for wall or base mounting. The possibility of converting the unit to a right-hand version (R) increases installation flexibility and allows the device to be adapted to specific construction conditions. Fixed connection spigots facilitate connection to the ventilation duct system. The quiet operation of the device – confirmed by certificates – ensures comfortable use without interference.
