Zehnder ComfoAir Q450 PL R VV Basic ST is a modern HRV unit that provides fresh air in the rooms while minimizing heat loss. The device combines high performance, quiet operation and intelligent solutions, which translates into user comfort and reduced heating costs. The unit is designed for wall or base mounting, and its universal design allows for easy adaptation to various installation conditions – it is possible to convert to a left-hand version (L).

Performance and efficiency

The ComfoAir Q450 HRV unit is characterized by a performance of up to 450 m³/h at 200 Pa, making it an ideal solution for single-family homes and medium-sized buildings. The built-in cross-current heat exchanger ensures high heat recovery, reaching up to 93%, which significantly reduces the energy demand for heating. In addition, the modulated pre-heater (VV) optimizes the temperature of the air supplied to the rooms, ensuring thermal comfort throughout the year.

Intelligent solutions for better air quality

The unit is equipped with a number of sensors that automatically regulate the airflow, maintaining optimal temperature and humidity comfort. The Flow Control function ensures automatic balancing of supply and exhaust air, and the innovative sensor technology guarantees maximum heat recovery. The built-in control panel allows for easy configuration of the device, and the optional ComfoSwitch C and ComfoConnect LAN C modules expand the control and monitoring capabilities of the ventilation system.

Construction and installation

The HRV unit has fixed (ST) connection spigots with a diameter of DN 180, which facilitates integration with the existing ventilation system. The dimensions of the device (850 x 725 x 570 mm) allow for flexible adaptation to the available space. The use of high-quality materials guarantees the durability and reliability of the device. A G4 filter is included as standard, and G3 or F7 filters can be used as an option depending on individual needs.
