How much does oil heating cost?
Everyone is interested in cost issues because, after all, it is the most important factor determining how much we have to spend during the long autumn and winter period, and sometimes also in spring, when the weather is not good. This is undoubtedly a key issue that cannot be forgotten when deciding to choose such a heating source. Heating oil prices may vary depending on many factors, such as the market situation or the region where we live. Of course, there are other expenses, i.e. the purchase and installation of an oil furnace with a tank.
If we were to take into account the average monthly cost of maintaining such an installation, it ranges from PLN 850 (or less, about PLN 710, if we use the government subsidy) to about PLN 1,250 (especially in uninsulated houses). These costs apply to a house with an area of 150 m2. However, as we mentioned, there are so many factors that determine the final expenses that it is difficult to define one measure for each case. For the sake of clarity, let us add that the price of the furnace ranges from approximately PLN 8,000 to PLN 12,000 (for a single-function furnace) and from PLN 25,000 to PLN 30,000 (for a good-quality condensing furnace). As for the prices of heating oil, they are so variable that it is difficult to say how much this fuel will cost at the time of purchase.
How many liters do heating oil tanks hold?
There are different sizes of tanks, smaller ones with a capacity of several hundred liters and larger ones with a capacity of several thousand liters of this fuel. Remember that the choice of tank depends on factors such as the amount of fuel used in the season, the size of the property and the availability of heating oil in our area.
The fuel oil tank is undoubtedly one of the basic elements of the entire oil heating system. It will serve us for a long time if we use and store it properly. This way, we can be sure that together with the condensing boiler it will ensure safe and effective heating of the entire building. For the entire system to function properly, you must, of course, choose a fuel oil tank with the appropriate capacity. It depends on individual needs and preferences, and especially on the stove we have.
How many liters of fuel can you keep at home?

This raises questions about how and, above all, how many liters of this substance can be legally stored at home. The most important thing you need to know is that storing fuel oil with a flash point above 55 degrees Celsius should take place in specially adapted non-pressure tanks, fixed above and underground, next to the building or in a technical room intended for this purpose, or on the lowest floor. above ground building.
Equally important, they should be properly equipped, especially with a system of filling, venting and oil extraction lines. The filling level indicator is also important. In a battery of tanks in a heating oil warehouse, it is important that they are all of the same type and have the same size. Their total volume cannot exceed 100 m3.
