Double-walled oil tank – safety and ease of use

This KWT double-walled oil tank with a capacity of 1500 liters combines proven solutions and modern technology. Made of durable polyethylene (PE), it is a reliable way to safely and efficiently store heating oil in both domestic and commercial facilities. The tank's design is intended for easy installation and long-term operation.

Construction and advantages

KWT tanks are distinguished by a unique double-wall construction that combines the advantages of single- and double-walled tanks. The whole is made of polyethylene, which ensures lightness, ease of installation and an attractive price. Smooth walls and appropriate shape guarantee the stability of the structure, eliminating the need for additional reinforcements in the form of steel straps. The double walls provide an effective barrier against leaks, even without the need for a collecting basin – which translates into lower investment costs. Additionally, the tank has diffusion-inhibiting properties thanks to a special polyamide processing technique embedded in the tank wall.

Thanks to the possibility of connecting in batteries with a total capacity of up to 25,000 liters, this system is scalable and adapts to the individual needs of users. The tank has passed fire tests (30-minute standard test at MPA Dortmund) and is covered by a 15-year manufacturer's warranty – ROTH.

Application and compatibility

The KWT tank is designed to store not only heating oil, but also diesel oil, biodiesel and used and new lubricating, engine, transmission and hydraulic oils (with the exception of heating and diesel oil, which can only be stored in single tanks). The possibility of coupling (serial/cascade connection) increases the flexibility of the system.

The height of the tank is 1650 mm. It is important to maintain appropriate distances during installation: a minimum of 40 cm from the side and front walls (allowing access to the tank) and 5 cm from the remaining walls (a minimum of 10 cm is recommended due to deformation during filling). The distance from the ceiling should be at least 21 cm from the top edge of the nut for mounting the main suction set.
