Patchcord F/UTP cat.6 PVC 3.0m blue ALANTEC KKS6NIE3.0
Universal Cat. 6 patch cord for professionals and users
This patch cord from ALANTEC is a reliable solution for creating and expanding computer networks. The F/UTP category 6 cable, 3 meters long and blue, provides stable data transmission up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet) and is backward compatible with lower categories. It is suitable for both distribution points and subscriber connections, offering flexibility and ease of installation.
Construction and shielding for stable transmission
The cable has a foil shield (F/UTP) surrounding the entire core, which significantly reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI). An additional grounding wire under the shield increases resistance to interference, especially important in environments with high levels of interference. This construction allows for safe cable routing near electrical wires and other sources of interference. The use of stranded conductors with polyethylene insulation ensures flexibility and durability of the connection.
Materials and application
The patch cord has a PVC jacket, which is commonly used in indoor installations due to its flexibility and cost-effectiveness. However, it should be remembered that PVC emits smoke in the event of a fire and contains halogens – therefore, in critical applications, it is worth considering cables with LSOH (Low Smoke Halogen Free) coating. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, making it suitable for most standard operating conditions. It meets the requirements of the 802.3af (PoE) standard, allowing devices to be powered via the network cable. The blue color makes it easy to identify the cable in the installation and also allows for easy differentiation of individual connections.
