Keystone RJ45 Module – Quick Installation and Reliability

This ALANTEC Plus Cat6 keystone RJ45 module is a network component designed for building subscriber points and patch panels in telecommunications installations. Designed for ease and speed of installation, especially where time is critical. The module has been tested in an independent INTERTEK (USA) laboratory, confirming its high quality and compliance with industry standards.

Design and Application

The module features a tool-less mounting system that allows for quick and convenient cable termination without the need for specialized tools. Terminating the socket takes up to 1/3 less time compared to traditional methods. Traditional, tool-based termination is also possible. Universal mounting allows installation in various network infrastructure elements – empty patch panels, wall or floor boxes. This makes the module extremely versatile and adapts to different installation needs.

An additional advantage is the design that protects the socket from damage when plugging in RJ11 and RJ12 telephone plugs – the connector pins do not deform. The integrated dust cover provides additional protection against contamination after plugging in the plug. The module is compatible with Cat6 UTP cables, offering data transmission up to 1 Gb/s at frequencies up to 250 MHz (extended characteristics up to 475 MHz). It can also be used in PoE++ networks, providing power to devices up to 100W (IEEE 802.3bt).
