The S201-B13 circuit breaker is characterized by a B characteristic, which means it is ideal for protecting circuits with inductive or capacitive loads, such as lighting or sockets. This characteristic allows for short-term current overloads without unnecessary tripping, which is particularly important when starting motors or other devices generating current pulses. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) is as high as 10kA at 230V and 400V, and also 6kA at 230V and 400V (Icn), which guarantees effective protection even in the event of serious failures.

Installation and technical parameters

The circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a TH35 rail. It accepts wire cross-sections from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² (stranded) and from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² (solid), providing flexibility during installation. Operation in an ambient temperature from -25°C to +55°C makes it suitable for use in various environmental conditions. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against finger contact, but does not protect against the effects of water. The circuit breaker has pollution degree III and a rated insulation voltage Ui of 440V. Additionally, the possibility of expansion with accessories increases the functionality of the system.
