This single-pole circuit breaker with K characteristic is a key element of every safe electrical installation. The K characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts more slowly to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when protecting circuits with devices generating inrush currents – such as electric motors or transformers. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at 230V and 400V and 10kA according to IEC 60947-2 guarantees safety even in the event of serious failures. Energy limitation class 3 and surge category III confirm its resistance to network disturbances.
