The circuit breaker with B characteristic, with a rated current of 13A, is ideal for protecting lighting and socket circuits. The B characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to an increase in short-circuit current, but is more tolerant to short-term current surges than circuit breakers with C or D characteristics. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at AC voltage makes it a solid protection for most standard installations. Additionally, the short-circuit breaking capacity at 230V is 20kA and at 400V is 10kA.

A width of 3 modules allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with fingers and solid objects larger than 12mm. The cross-section of the connected conductors can range from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² for multi-wire conductors and from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² for single-wire conductors. The ambient temperature in operating conditions is in the range of -25°C to +55°C, which ensures its proper operation in various environmental conditions.

Installation and application

The installation of the circuit breaker is simple and intuitive – it takes place on a TH35 rail (standard mounting rail). It is intended for use in installations with a rated voltage of 400V and overvoltage category III.
