B characteristic – ideal for circuits with devices with high inrush current

The B characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to short circuits, but is more tolerant to short-term current surges, such as those occurring during the starting of motors or other devices with high inrush current. This minimizes the risk of unnecessary tripping of the circuit during normal operation. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 440V AC, and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 4 kV. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² (solid) or from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² (stranded) provides installation flexibility.
