Characteristics and application

This three-pole circuit breaker with a rated current of 25A and B characteristic is perfect for circuits with moderate inrush current, such as lighting, sockets or household appliances. The B characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to short circuits, but tolerates short-term current surges during device start-up – which is particularly important for electric motors or transformers. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at 400V ensures effective protection in the event of a failure.

Construction and mounting

The circuit breaker occupies 3 modules on a DIN rail, which facilitates its installation in electrical distribution boards. Compact dimensions (installation depth 69 mm) allow installation even in limited space. Suitable for operation at temperatures from -25°C to 55°C, and also resistant to contamination (pollution degree 3) – making it a universal solution for various environmental conditions. The possibility of using additional equipment increases the functionality of the device and allows it to be adapted to individual installation needs. Wires with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² (solid) or from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² (stranded) can be easily connected to the circuit breaker. Protection class IP20 provides basic protection against accidental contact.
